Since the introduction of Prime, I have been a dedicated Amazon shopper. And on Prime Day, Amazon celebrates addicts like myself with special deals. Not all of these dealers are winners, but the ones that are, are not to be missed. Not a Prime member? You can sign up for a free trial
Let’s start with the newbies. Sign up for Prime and you can get a 30-day free trial. If you don’t use it, cancel it. But be warned, it’s a gateway drug. This free trial signup link is valid until 9pm EDT on 7/17. Also, if you’re a college student, you can save 50% off of a 6-month trial of Prime today only.
Here are the Prime Day deals I bought, and the ones that caught my eye, even if I didn’t need them. So let’s start with the beauty deals, because this is where I found the most stuff.
Do you use a Clarisonic? Do you change your brush-heads regularly? This Prime deal let’s you subscribe for automatically delivery of fresh brush-heads and save $3 on each one. Then, for Prime day, you get an additional 25%-off at checkout.
I never remember to buy brush-heads, and just wait until mine is so gross I can’t stomach it anymore, so this deal was meant for me.
Supergoop! is my favorite sunscreen. For Prime you save 20% off at checkout on their Meadowfoam Sunscreen Oil, which is great for dry or aging skin. But if you prefer a spray on, mousse or cream, all of the Supergoop! options are on sale. Even the giant 18oz Everyday Sunscreen in SPF50 for those of you who like to stock up.
There are a lot of other great Prime Day beauty deals on Stila Stay All Day eyeliner, the Beachwaver, and more. But if you do buy a beauty product on Prime Day, don’t forget to get these great freebies with code PRIMESAMPLES. One of my favorite products, IS Clinical Active Serum is included.
These Simple Modern thermal drink containers keep cold beverages cold and hot beverages hot. They’re a knock-off Hydroflask. I love mine. I take it on long trips to keep my tea warm.
Another stock up item are these 6-foot Amazon Basics lightning cables. They make life so much easier when the plug-ins in your home aren’t close enough to your desk, couch, or bed. They’re also great when you’re traveling and the hotel doesn’t have enough plug-ins near the bed.
If you haven’t bought an Instant Pot yet, you can save $34 on the 3-quart option. I used it a lot during the colder weather. In the summer, I’ve just been using it to make lime-cilantro rice for tacos.
Those are the Prime Day deals that caught my eye. But there are literally thousands of items on sale. The smart thing is to look for what you regularly buy — RxBar snack bars, for example — and see if it’s on Prime Day.

Definitely purchased the Instant Pot, and am planning on purchasing the Bose noise cancelling headphones as well.
It’s a lot of junk, but if you’re in the market for any tech – ESPECIALLY Amazon products like the Echo, Kindle, etc. – it’s the best day to buy.
Since Belle has mentioned Daily Ritual a few times, they’re also having deals for Prime Day. I’m getting the Jersey short sleeve T-shirt dress for $9.99!
Not gonna lie, definitely bought the Harry Potter dvd set. 🙂
I don’t even need one but I was really tempted by an instant pot last week!
