Two Ways: Asymmetrical White Top

Aug 18, 2015

Top: ASOS Origami T-Shirt ($54)

From Left, Bag: Target Large Dome Satchel ($39) // Shoes: Carra Point Pumps ($135) // Necklace: Kenneth Cole Bead Necklace ($14) // Skirt: Raoul Printed Skirt ($155)

From Right, Sunglasses: Vince Camuto Oversized Sunglasses ($85) // Ring: VC Glass Stone Ring ($38) // Bag: Milly Mercer Clutch ($123) // Shoes: Loeffler Randall Lottie Sandal ($375) // Jeans: Midwash Molly Jeggings ($84)

I adore this asymmetrical tee from ASOS.  It’s a kicked up basic that gives your outfits a bit more punch. This tiered t-shirt from ASOS also has a cool look to it.  Plus-size? This Eloquii color-block top has a cool asymmetrical style.

For the Office. I am completely obsessed with this floral skirt from Raoul.  That pattern is so cool.  This Bar III pencil skirt in a subtler color combination also caught my eye.  This River Island skirt with a pop of orange is awesome for just $50.  Plus-size ladies should check out this Eloquii skirt in a modern floral print.

For the accessories, I chose a navy necklace to add a dose of color to the stark white top.  I also liked this dramatic Lulu Frost necklace.  I chose these pointed toe grey pumps to lengthen the leg.  You could also choose a navy pair.

I wanted a bit more color from the bag, so I went with a royal blue over navy.  I also considered this burgundy satchel for contrast.

For the hair, I would wear it up in a twisted updo.  For the makeup, I would wear a glossy burgundy lip and lots of mascara.

For the Weekend. This look was inspired by Olivia Palermo’s ensemble from last year’s fashion week.  I like how the dressy, sultry heels lift a simple shirt and jeans.

These distressed leggings look good.  I think the best distressed jeans come from Old Navy.  They also have a boyfriend-style pair.  They also come in plus-size and petite.

Looking for an affordable alternative to the Loeffler pumps?  Try these Steve Madden high-heel sandals.  These laser-cut tie-back sandals are to die for.

I chose this Milly bag because the black and white seemed like a chic addition.  I also like this affordable INC foldover clutch.  The ring is almost sold out, but this square version is on sale for $15.

For the hair, I would wear it down or in a high ponytail.  For the makeup, I would wear a bold nail polish like OPI Red.

Love it! Picked it up immediately. It reminds me of that MM La Fleur navy top you posted about a while ago; picked that up too when you posted about the sale, and it’s fantastic!

Belle, I love that top and would love to add it to my wardrobe. That sleeve length is perfect. I’ve always been nervous about ordering from ASOS because I’m not sure how their sizing fits me. As a long time reader, I get the sense that we are similar in size – would you mind sharing the size that you would order for this top?

I waited too long to get that ASOS asymmetrical top and now it’s sold out in everything but a size 0. But I did find a pair of red Zara strappy shoes in an under-$50 price point with a similar look to the Loeffler Randall pair: https://www.zara.com/us/en/woman/shoes/view-all/crossover-leather-high-heel-shoes-c734142p2774782.html
