BPGP: Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation

Aug 18, 2015

s958611-main-hero-300Several years ago, I switched from Ole Henriksen Express the Truth to Tammy Fender’s Intensive Healing Balm.  They’re both very moisturizing, but heavy.  Recently, I decided to switch to something lighter and gravitated toward Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation ($40).

The moisturizer has a velvety texture.  It goes on very smooth and blends in easily.  Unlike a lot of light moisturizers, it doesn’t leave an oily residue.

I haven’t had much luck with light moisturizers.  After a day or two, my skin starts to feel like cardboard.  Or worse, my t-zone gets oily and the delicate skin near my nose and eyes becomes like sandpaper.  Good times.  I’ve used Sheer Transformation for a week and haven’t experienced any of those issues.

The moisturizer is also blended to fade dark spots and promote even skin tone, so I’m looking forward to that.  It also has anti-oxidants and Vitamin C to prevent fine lines.

All in all, I’m fairly happy with this moisturizer.  It gets the job done without being too heavy.  I’m hoping the future benefits also come to fruition.  If you’re looking for something similar from the drugstore, I like the Say Yes to Tomatoes balancing moisturizer.

I recently got a large sample of this from Sephora and have been using it for 2-3 weeks nearly daily. I’ve extremely pleased with it and will be purchasing the full size. I have oily, sensitive skin but my skin has never looked better!
