As the mercury continues to drop and the Oregon Juncos living in my bird houses look increasingly frustrated, I am focusing on spring. Because the change of seasons cannot be altered by Executive Order. So let’s do some jacket shopping for the warmer weather to come.
Given that it’s still pretty chilly, this teddy coat with leather trim from Old Navy ($79) comes in tall and plus sizes.
Instagram keeps feeding me ads for this Boden water repellant coat ($245, also in petite). It comes in this vivid pink combination, or you can choose from the slightly more subdued tan option with a subtle, but popping neon trim.
I really adore this H&M quilted coat ($45) for a hint of boho-chic. The pattern is neutral but whimsical, and the look is just fantastic for casual days.
Speaking of shorter jacket this parchment bomber style from Zella ($148) caught my eye. It also comes in black and looks great with leggings or jeans.
Lastly, I wanted to pull a softer trench. I have a similar coat in steel blue and I get so many compliments every time I wear it. This one from AT ($159) is in Spring’s go-to color, pale green. Prefer a neutral? Mango has a similar style in light tan.

I totally clicked on the bird link. 😎
Me too! Abra, have you joined the casual birder legions? Those little fellows are very pretty neighbors!
I love the green trench coat!!
