August is always a nostalgic time for me. I started this blog during a lazy August recess 16 years ago, and the end of summer always takes me back. And one of my favorite winter trends then and now is leopard, luckily, it’s a hot trend for fall. So if you’ve packed your leopard away, it’s time to release your inner 1990s New Jersey house wife. Here are a few pieces I love.
These Steve Madden Slingbacks (sizes 5-12) are adorable. If you need a heel, WHBM has a great leopard kitten heel. These knit flats are also great, and half the price of Rothy’s. Or just grab a pair of leopard Chuck Taylors for the full casual look.
This metallic top from Zara would be very chic under a blazer, and it’s just $29.
This Foxcroft popover comes in plus and misses sizes. I like this as a relaxed dress option for casual work days. It’s a fun piece.
This haircalf belt from Ann Taylor is a chic option.
This water resistant coat from Gallery is a fantastic topper. I imagine wearing it to stand outside for rainy toddler soccer games. It’ll add something extra to leggings and a sweater.
Adding a bit of leopard to a winter coat is an approachable way to wear this trend. I like this one from Vince Camuto that costs just $13.
Not crazy about leopard print? This Rails shirt gives you a bit of subtle leopard. Rails also makes this shirt in a larger print, currently on discount at Rack.

I’m going to go ahead and make the argument that leopard should be considered as classic as breton stripes and a wardrobe staple!
