Influencers are famous for the one and done. They promote that hot new serum, that must-have mousse, the of the moment dress, and then, you never see or hear about any of these items again. That’s not how this blog operates. Here are some products follow-ups to items that were previously featured on my blog or social channels.
FitFlop is not a brand that you’ll find in the pages of Vogue or in the feed of your favorite influencer. Unless of course, your favorite influencer has feet that still haven’t recovered from the birth of her daughter. I posted about these cushiony, comfortable sandals to my Instagram a few weeks ago, and I love them just as much now as I did then.
The FitFlop Gracie sandal is like a vacation for your feet. They’re also 40% off in the orange this week. I like them so much that I picked up this bright neon pink pair for the pool.
A few weeks ago, I reviewed the Replenix Tinted Brightening Cream. I told you that while I liked it, it wasn’t the must-have cream so many influencers claimed (at least not for someone with a baby at home). I still like the cream, but I am certain that I won’t repurchase. But after being disappointed, I went looking for a miracle cream.
I didn’t find it.
The Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Under Eye Stick is cakey. So cakey. Anything I layered over it just folded up and flaked away. I also tried the Fenty Beauty’s Bright Fix Eye Concealer. I tried several shades, but the color match was always a little off. Plus, it was so heavy, if you weren’t wearing a full face of makeup, you couldn’t blend it. Both were returned.
I loved this Bali Wire Free Bra. Loved. Basically stopped wearing all other bras. Well, our love didn’t last. After several washes, the shape of the bra broke down and the bra started giving me something one step to the left of a uniboob. No thanks. If you’re willing to hand wash, your love will likely last longer. I am not willing to hand wash.
While searching for a replacement, I found this bra from Warner’s. I know, it’s a “grandma brand,” but grandmas like comfort. Plus, the bra smooths any bulges and gives just the right amount of lift.
I’ve reviewed this $40 Sonia Kashuk brush set several times. Last night, I cleaned them and am still amazed by how good they are. The quality is comparable to my It! Cosmetics or Sigma brushes. They’re a great buy. She’s also got a new set out that contains more powder brushes. The brushes are so good, I might try some other items from her line.
I also love the gold Sonia Kashuk brushes at Target! I first tried the flat concealer brush on your rec a year or two ago, and then I bought a few more. I love the flat foundation brush the most, and I love that the single brushes come with a plastic travel cap. I used the flat concealer brush (around $6, I think) as one of my stocking stuffers last Christmas.
Picked some of these up from Target today based on Belle’s review and this comment!
Very interested in the fit flops but cannot find where they are 40% off.
It looks like just the orange are 40% off. https://shopstyle.it/l/bX4Gj
These reviews are why I trust anything you recommend and continue to purchase things you like. Youre honest and funny. Thank you.
This bra, also from Warner’s, has been my favorite for the last couple of years. https://www.target.com/p/simply-perfect-by-warner-39-s-women-39-s-super-soft-wirefree-bra-rm1691t-38c-roasted-almond/-/A-15728033
I bought it at Target and it has held up to weekly machine washing (but I always hang dry). Highly recommend.
I own that Bali bra and it’s just ok compared to my Warners bra – wider band and convertible straps for the win

Agreed! I picked up that bra at Target and while it’s not my favorite everyday bra (I linked that one above), I do appreciate it when I need a racer back.
Can you do a tutorial or refresher on what brushes to use for what task?! I get so lost.
