Long Read. Who wins Instagram giveaways?  An investigation.

I’ve decided that I’m going to go back to getting regular manicures and pedicures.  It’s a small indulgence that helps me feel more pulled together.  And I adored this Elle article featuring 20 subtle nail art designs (2 and 13 were my favorites).

How do you feel about nail art?  It’s probably a WFH option for me, but I think I might give it a try this summer and branch out from my go-to Modern Love mani a bit.

I love nail art! And I’ve missed manicures so much this past year. I’ve always either worked from home or in a very casual/creative field, so I would say my design choices tended to be louder than is probably accepted in more formal offices, but it does seem to be considered less “out there” these days. if I want to be more formal I usually get a french tip in interesting but neutral colors.

Haha, I am guilty of most of the jargon. Have never encountered the parking lot verbiage though, ooh I do not like that one. 🙂

That Instagram giveaway article was fascinating and something I have often wondered about. I just can’t believe that most of these giveaways are real. Sure, if it’s a brand or person I already follow and I don’t have to do anything more than tag someone in the comments, I’ll enter, but beyond that, I’m not circle following anyone for a one in 500,000 shot at a new candle.
