For a couple of years now, Reformation has been the biggest thing in dresses. With high slits, flirty silhouettes, and feminine prints, their wares are certainly lovely (especially this Wildflower dress), but a little pricey. So when you find a dress that has that Reformation look at a less-than-Reformation-price, you snap it up.
This & Other Stories Satin Midi Dress is fabulous. The square neckline, the high slit, the puff sleeve — yes, yes, and yes.
As for how to wear it, you can go several directions, but all of them depend on the shoes you choose. Here are four:
One. High-heeled sandals require dangly earrings and a simple clutch.
Two. A sock boot with tights goes with black hoops and chain crossbody.
Three. Over-the-knee suede boots should have a cool cocktail ring and a killer leather jacket.
And four, a glam mesh sandal with a dramatic earring and a red lipstick.
A word of caution, however, this dress is satin. So if you’re going to wear tights, you’ll need Static Guard to prevent static cling.
