Thank you for including a maternity option! I have that Seraphine dress and it is so flattering on a rapidly growing/changing body.
thank you for sharing the adrianna papel dress! I have been trying to spend a Nordstrom gift card this week and had SO much trouble finding cute, affordable work pieces on their website!
This is a great post, and it made me think of the Homeyee mention you made and the comments it spawned last year. I now own 3 dresses from them; they’re inexpensive (under THIRTY FREAKING DOLLARS), sturdy, machine washable, and totally appropriate for the office. I wear them to work all the time and get compliments every time I do.
I always see these Homeyee dresses with their super high ratings, but they look so fitted in the pictures. What would you recommend in terms of sizing? Size up? Stick with your regular size? Thanks!
Yes! Sizing concerns me. They have been in my wish list forever because I’m so scared of the size issue.
Hi! So the sizing is is not what most of us in the US are used to. For a successful order, is imperative that you follow *their* size chart, which is displayed with the product images (or, if you prefer, I hunted down a link to the image itself here: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71SsuLqr%2BtL._UY679_.jpg). I think most of the people facing sizing issues are going by Amazon’s generic/universal size chart.
In Homeyee, I wear a 6 and they fit very well. In most western brands, I’m often a 0 or 2 depending on the brand. In case it helps, here are my measurements for reference: 33″ bust, 27-28″ waist, 37″ hips. One of my three dresses may benefit from some minor alterations (nip the bust in) but it does not look ill-fitting or sloppy without.
Thank you for including so many plus size options! You are incredible (as are these dresses).
