State of the Blog: Power Up, Power Down

Apr 2, 2015

pleasestandby

My computer is possessed.  I turn it on, unplug it, and five-minutes later I’m getting a low-battery warning.  I leave it plugged in, I get the spinning rainbow wheel of death every time I try to open a new page.  Headed to the Apple Store in the morning.  God bless, Apple Care.

Hopefully, I’ll see you tomorrow. xo Belle

Do you frequently work with it plugged in regardless of your battery’s state? Sometimes laptop batteries can be touchy like that – I know I’ve killed a few on my work laptop that very way courtesy my docking station. I’m not sure about Macs, but I know some PCs have a power setting you can change to tell it you’ll primarily be working off AC power and it does help. If your Mac has that functionality, I bet your Genius Bar folks can tell you that. Good luck!
