I miss the days of thick cotton tees. The kind you could wash 1000x and never damage. The ones that felt more like lightweight sweatshirts. Sadly, the 2008 recession taught brands that deep discounts motivated consumers, not quality. But maybe those days are coming to a close, fingers crossed.
This Stretch-Knit Top from Good American is an awesome add to any wardrobe. The square neck, thicker fabric, soft knit, and the under-$75 price make this a good buy. The top comes in three colors: white, black, and dark tan.
Nordstrom says the top runs true-to-size. I find Good American runs a bit smaller than other brands. So if you’re in-between sizes, size up. The sizes are redefined in a 1-7 scale, but the range is XS to 4XL.
This top looks great under blazers or worn as a base layer under sweaters. Give it a try.
