1. Uniqlo Ponte Half-Sleeve Shift ($50) // 2. Dior Diorific Vernis Lacquer ($26) // 3. Topshop Darcy Blazer ($90) // 4. Mali Sabatasso Rose Quartz Pendant ($150) // 5. Ninah Pearl Pink Pump ($128) // 6. Chelsea Flower Embroidered Top ($115) // 7. Pave Rondelle Bracelet ($35) // 8. Duffy Knitted Turtleneck ($130)
One. I love an easy shift dress. It can be transformed with pumps and a statement necklace, or brought down to earth with a wood bangle and a pair of flats. I also found this vibrant emerald shift from Topshop. If you prefer long sleeves, try this crepe shift from WAYF.
Two. “If we make a nail polish that comes in a bottle so beautiful that you’ll buy it just for that, I bet we can charge a fortune for it.” Dior is so tricky. But who can resist this gorgeous bottle filled with shimmering mauve polish, or this classic red, or this perfect, shimmering gold. However, on the off-chance it’s the polish you’re after, Deborah Lippmann Modern Love has a similar look.
Three. Collarless blazers are becoming more popular. I like them because they look a bit more modern than the traditional blazer. This pale grey is nice, but I only found this navy jacket from BCBGeneration and this black Calvin Klein.
Four. I love the look of rose quartz, and if you’re New Year’s Resolution involved your love life, it’s thought that rose quartz can provide good luck in that arena. This Kate Spade pendant also has a nice look to it, but if you want something under-$75, try this Zariin silver pendant.
Five. Mirror metallic pumps are all the rage right now. These rose gold pumps are superb. These Antonio Melani silver pumps are a great choice, as are these Kelly & Katie open-toe pumps. Prefer flats? These AE ankle straps are just $15.
Six. I love the embroidery on the shoulders of this top. The metallic threads and hint of pastel would be perfect for the coming spring (I know, I know. I’m cold and hopeful.). I also love the embroidery on this boho Sam top and this pale pink and grey Tracy Reese top (so gorgeous!).
Seven. Who doesn’t love a sparkly bauble? This inexpensive pave bracelet from Banana Republic is an especially lovely one. I also love this Stella & Dot Ainsley bracelet, it’s the perfect statement piece, and this pave stack set from Last Call.
Eight. If you must bundle up in a bulky sweater, at least it can be a pretty one, am I right? I adore the soft pink-purple of this Duffy sweater. It reminds me of this mauve silk-cashmere sweater from Burberry. If you’d like a similar look for less, don’t miss this sweater from Zara.
I have to say, I saw a woman walking into work with mirror/metallic silver pumps the other day and she looked straight up ridiculous in an office environment.
Oh lord, they’re not for work (unless you work in a creative space)! But I think they’re super cute for after work.
I am in LOVE with that Uniqlo shift dress. I’ve never purchased anything from Uniqlo, let alone a dress, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on sizing. I want it to be office appropriate but also useful out of the office (I am 5’5” for reference). Thanks!
Me too! Never bought anything from there, but I now have that dress in two different colors in my cart. It looks like something I will wear all the time.
Love the colors used in this post.
I love love love the color palette in this post. I wish I wasn’t so pale so it would look better on me!!

Dior really knows what they are doing – I now want their polish simply for the packaging!
