Black: Pied-a-Terre Leather Tee ($190) Navy: Raoul Graphic Leather Tee ($335) Green: J.Crew Leather and Merino top ($495) Tan: TopShop Patched Panel Sweatshirt ($56)
Last week, I had lunch with a friend on the Senate side. She was wearing the coolest outfit: wide leg black trousers, black heels, a snow leopard print, silk button up and a black leather tee over the top. All of this was accessorized with some long gold chains and two big, cocktail rings. Paired with a french twist, it was the perfect pairing of rocker chic and professional attire.
Her outfit got me thinking: Could I pull off a leather tee?
Honestly, I’m not sure that I could, and at these prices, I’m not sure I would even try. After all, spending four bones on a single shirt is a bit steep for me. But on the other hand, I’d love to try a leather tee with a long chiffon skirt or a colored, ankle trouser.
Perhaps, I’ll bookmark a few leather tees in case they go on sale. This long sleeved one in particular.
I'm digging the Raoul and J Crew shirts, but do not have $300+. Your friends outfit sounds great!
The long sleeved one blows the other ones you posted out of the water!
What about a pleather option, Belle? There are some decent looking fauxs for the vegans and budget-conscious.
